Habtamu Fekadu Aga is a washing station located in the Chelbesa village. The owner, Aaga Dinsa, is producing coffee himself in his 105 hectare farm. He cultivates 74110 and 74112 cultivars. In addition, he works with 144 local smallholders.
All the coffee he works with is grown organically.
After depulping, the coffee undergo a 48 to 72h fermentation underwater. The seeds are then washed and fermented for another 12h underwater.
They are then dried on raised beds for 12 to 14 days until the desired moisture content is reached.
