Finca Santa Maria is located on the terroir of Buesaco in the department of Nariño. Mountainous area bordering Ecuador, it is one of those places very famous for growing coffee at very high altitude, between 1800 and 2200 masl, with significant temperature differences that make the production unique.
Armando Benavides is the owner of the Santa Maria farm for over 30 years and this farm has been producing coffee for over 50 years. Production started with Caturra. Today, Armando is a producer recognized in this area for his family production, under shade, with responsible agricultural practices that aim to reduce chemical inputs.
